On September 22 in New York City President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva.

Today, September 24, the 3rd International Statistical Forum of the Commonwealth of Independent States began its work in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. The event is dedicated to the theme “International Projects – The Driving Force of Statistics”.

On September 17, the III International forum “From poverty to prosperity” started its work in the city of Namangan. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part and gave an address at the opening ceremony. 

On May 30, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated in the “Central Asia-Italy” summit in the city of Astana.

In the SDG Index ranking for 2023, published by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and international experts, Uzbekistan ranked 69th among 166 countries with an index of 71.1.

In 2019, with the technical support of the United Nations Development Program in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Website on Sustainable Development Goal Indicators (https://nsdg.stat.uz/) was developed to monitor the achievements of the SDGs and disseminate up-to-date information on the current situation in the country.

On January 27 of this year, a TV show was organized at the International Press Club on the topic: "Increasing the role of parliament in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals: the experience of Uzbekistan". It was attended by members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and representatives of various ministries and departments of our country.
